36 weeks 4 days pregnant?

I am 36 weeks 4 days pregnant and for about a week now I been feeling this sharp pain in my , it feels like needles almost. I went to the doctor for my 36 weeks and still no dilation but the baby was sitting very low. I have gestational diabetes and at my last appointment they found protein in my urine. Go urine retested and my hemoglobin( sugars over past 3 months) tested to see how I am regulating. Last night I kept feeling these sharp cramps like things shooting up and down my , it was very uncomfortable and I was getting back pain, and my groin hurts so bad, it's been hurting since like i hit my 3rd trimester. I just want to make sure everything is ok. This is my second pregnancy and with my 1st he was breech so did not feel any of this and I had to get a c-section. I am going to try lly, but if I do not go into labor or progress I have to have another c-section. I go back to the dr thursday 1/21 so hopefully I'll findout my results and talk to the doctor more about my pains and what they want to do if I don't progress
