What happened to music?

there are still bands that put hours into a song, the thing is alot of people dont appreciate talent and dedication like they used to. all anyone cares about nowadays is a catchy tune replayed over and over and over. its kinda sad that the people who spend countless hours practicing and perfecting an instrument will never be as popular as rap and pop songs which can be made in 30 min without rehersal. hopefully this decade isnt as pathetic for popular music as the last one.
