Air force pilot? am I good enough!?

Alright I've considered being a pilot but I am not sure if I am good enough to be a pilot...I have just had a friend entered and what I wanted to do is sit back and see what happens to him but nothings really changed yet...I want to be a pilot but the fear of ending up with some ridiculous other job bugs me too much, any suggestions..and Manning up isn't a suggestion! I just look at the air force as a future benefit to life if I want to be a pilot after the force, if I end up being a janitor that wont help me at all! and I wonder if war will break out with korea? if so well yeah...
