If i buy a second comcast high speed internet box will it work in my second room?

Well full description is I have a Ps3, laptop, wii , psp that i all want to have acces to internt to. I also have high speed comcast internet with a Rca box. I have purchased an Arris box - (I have had this model before). But i was wondering if i connected it in my second room via coax and the to my laptop via ethernet will it work?
